Donald O. Manning

Profile

Don has been in private law practice in Northern Virginia since 1971. He is a member of the Trust and Estate sections of the Arlington Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar. He served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Trust and Estate Section of the Virginia State Bar from 1980 to 1985. Don has been a lecturer at the Virginia State Bar’s Advanced Estate Planning Seminar.

His community activities include having served as president of the Arlington Community Foundation. He is also an active member of the Arlington Kiwanis Club and is chairperson of the Endowment Fund at Rockspring Congregational United Church of Christ. Don was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971, and received a Bronze Star Medal for his service in Vietnam with the First Brigade of the Fifth Infantry.

Don was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel in 1985.
